Therapy Aides assist fully qualified therapists in the delivery of therapy services in agencies providing rehabilitation to the elderly and the disabled at day care centres, nursing homes and community hospitals.

Minimum Requirements
Upon being employed in a voluntary welfare organisation (VWO), Therapy Aides are encouraged to enroll for the Certificate in Basic Therapy Aide from Ren Ci Hospital and Medicare Centre. This training is eligible for subsidies through the Training for Employment in the Social Services (TESS) scheme, tenable through the Social Service Training Institute (SSTI), an academy of the National Council of Social Service.

Salary Range
Therapy Aides have a monthly starting salary of about $940 to $1,000 based on qualifications and experience.
